College Track in Colorado
Colorado is ranked one of the best economies in the country, yet less than one quarter of residents achieve the level of education necessary to earn a seat at the table. With so many young people moving to the area to take part in Denver’s workforce, there’s an even greater need to prepare our homegrown talent to compete and thrive.
In 2011, College Track partnered with Aurora Public Schools to bring our unique 10-year program to students from Rangeview and Gateway High School. Five years later, we opened our Denver center in partnership with Denver Public Schools and the Sheridan School District to serve students from Abraham Lincoln, Denver South, John F. Kennedy, Kunsmiller Creative Arts Academy, and Sheridan High School.
Today, the region serves more than 500 students annually, with two classes of college graduates from Aurora connecting their skills and passions to regions workforce.

“In all my years of working in Colorado, I have decided to focus my time and efforts on College Track because I want to be a part of a movement towards educational equity. I want to be a part of lifting up the 21st century economy and bringing every student and leader into Colorado’s thriving economy.”

Our Corporate Residency Program
In 2019, College Track Colorado became the second region to launch a Corporate Residency Program to ensure that our students can connect their skills and talents with careers they’re passionate about.
Every summer, our high school and college students participate in day-long visits with our partner host companies across the Denver metro area. The day’s activities are specifically designed for students to engage with company staff, learn about possible career pathways, develop a professional network, experience the corporate environment, understand how to prepare for interviews, and explore available internship or job opportunities.
