The Case for Giving

Since its founding in 1997, College Track has supported the educational journeys of thousands of first-generation college students. Our scholars earn their bachelor’s degrees at 3x the rate of their first-generation peers, and go on to become scientists, engineers, teachers, artists, and activists, finding solutions to our most pressing problems and creating a future in which we all flourish.

Your investment lights the way for our scholars to pursue the lives of opportunity, choice, purpose, and power that they deserve. Together, we can amplify the talent within our communities and inspire a movement towards educational equity across the nation.

The Joe K. Gardner Memorial Fund

The Joe K. Gardner Memorial Fund honors the legacy of College Track Site Director, Joe K. Gardner, and the indelible impact on College Track scholars and the people with and for whom he did this work. Contributions will support emergency funds for College Track scholars, which provide vital resources to ensure that our students remain on track to earn their bachelor’s degree, despite unexpected financial hardships. Funds will be used to cover crucial, unforeseen expenses that would otherwise pose significant roadblocks in our scholars’ ability to persist through college, including housing, food, medical, tuition, transportation, and technology.
