College Track Named One of 10 Finalists for 2021 Google Impact Challenge

OAKLAND – 3 November 2021 – College Track is honored to be among ten finalists for the 2021 Google Impact Challenge Bay Area, which will distribute $10 million in grants to 35 nonprofit organizations working to create a stronger, more equitable region. 

Voting is now open to determine the winner of the “People’s Choice Award!” Voters can visit g.co/BayAreaChallenge to cast their vote for College Track before November 14th. The top five projects chosen by judges and the Bay Area public will each receive a $1M grant. The remaining five will each receive a $500,000 grant. Winners will be announced on November 17, 2021.

If selected for a grant, College Track will use the investment to expand its STEM programs, which give first-generation students from low-income communities opportunities to gain access to internships, mentors, and career pathways.
