College Track New Orleans

For almost 20 years, College Track New Orleans has been equipping students to earn college degrees and build brighter futures.

Proving What’s Possible

Since opening in 2008 in partnership with the Urban League of Louisiana, College Track New Orleans has championed a powerful belief: every student — regardless of background or zip code — deserves the opportunity to earn a college degree and build a life of greater opportunity and social mobility.

As the organization’s first expansion beyond California, the site has spent nearly two decades building a lasting presence in the city, recruiting scholars from a network of twenty partner high schools across the region.

In 2016, New Orleans celebrated its first college graduating class. Hundreds more have followed since — the next generation of leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers shaping the city’s future.

Our scholars come from neighborhoods and school systems across the entire city, and that breadth reflects who we’re built to serve. In August 2026, the site took a major step forward, relocating from Congress Street in the Lower 9th Ward to Tulane University‘s Downtown Campus. The move did not narrow its reach; it strengthened an already established partnership, placed scholars at the heart of a vibrant academic community, and created room to welcome even more students from every part of New Orleans.

We’re not just sending students to college. We’re building a brighter, more equitable future for New Orleans — one graduate at a time.
