Colorado State University System and College Track Announce Groundbreaking Partnership to Increase Educational Equity
The First Site Colocated on a University Campus
College Track Denver opened in 2016 in partnership with Abraham Lincoln High School, and in the years since, it has undergone a remarkable transformation. What began as a program navigating space constraints and pandemic-era challenges has grown into a thriving, fully staffed site with real momentum behind it.
The turning point came in 2023, when the site relocated to Colorado State University’s Spur Campus — making College Track Denver the first program colocated with a university system. That move established a landmark institutional partnership, one that includes guaranteed annual scholar admissions and dedicated scholarship support.
Since then, the site has grown scholar enrollment nearly tenfold, while forging strong partnerships with Denver Public Schools and four North Denver high schools.
