The Heart of College Track
As College Track’s second site, Oakland has spent more than two decades putting down roots — and today, it stands as the organization’s flagship location. When teams from across the country gather for national retreats, summits, or new-hire orientations, they gather here, and Oakland carries that role with pride.
Since summer 2023, the site has called Old Oakland home, sharing space with the Central Office after more than a decade at 117 Broadway in Jack London Square — a fitting new chapter for a site that’s always evolved alongside its scholars.
That spirit of evolution held strong even through a recent stretch of interim leadership, a period the Oakland team met with steadiness, cohesion, and an unshakeable belief in the mission. And in late May 2026, the site opened its next chapter, welcoming Nicole Williams Browning as its new Executive Site Director — bringing fresh energy and focused leadership to a team that’s more than ready for what’s next.
