Our Next Chapter

Transition is a natural part of growth. To that end, after much reflection David Silver has decided to transition out of his role as the CEO of College Track. He will continue to serve as a Senior Advisor for the balance of the 2014/15 school year to ensure a seamless transition for our students and staff.

The Board of Directors has appointed Elissa Salas as Interim CEO of College Track. Elissa joined College Track in 2011 as the founding Site Director in Aurora, Colorado and over the past two years has served as our Vice President of Strategic Growth and a key member of College Track's leadership team.

College Track is extremely grateful for David’s contributions to our organization over the past three and a half years. Under his leadership, we have expanded scale and improved results. In particular, we have doubled the number of students we serve to more than 2,000, we are now active in seven cities, and our 4-year college acceptances and college matriculation rates are the highest in the 17-year history of our organization. These achievements are transforming the lives of not only our students, but also their families and communities.

The program model we've created with College Track is strong and vibrant. The board and staff have never been so confident about what College Track students are poised to achieve and we are grateful for David's commitment and partnership in setting us up for the growth ahead.
